Nem Inventar ApS designs, produces and installs fixed furniture for construction projects in Denmark: wardrobes, lockers, toilet cubicles, changing-room benches, kitchenettes, shelving and acoustic panels. We work as a subcontractor for main contractors and building owners, from our office in Copenhagen and our own production.

Wardrobes and lockers for pupils, children and staff, with benches, shoe racks and seating niches.
Toilet cubicles, partitions and wash counters in compact laminate for wet areas.
Changing-room furniture with wall-hung benches, so the floor stays free for cleaning.
Kitchenettes and mobile kitchen islands with worktops in linoleum, laminate, compact laminate or stainless steel.
Shelving, tall cabinets, niches and acoustic panels, built to the room.
Most of our joinery is made in pine or birch plywood, finished with Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil rather than lacquer, so worn surfaces can be repaired on site instead of being sanded down. Where water is involved, we use compact laminate.
II.
How we work
We work from the architect's drawings and the tender documents. You get a price per item following your bill of quantities, and any differences between drawings and quantities are listed as reservations, so our offer can be compared with others. If the tender runs in Dalux or iBinder, invite us there: we work in both, with IFC models, from tender to handover.
Every element is modelled in 3D and approved before production. Deliveries follow the site schedule, in stages if needed, and we install everything ourselves.
Documentation
For buildings seeking the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, DGNB or similar schemes, we use materials suitable for certified construction and hand over product data sheets, indoor-climate documentation and EPDs where the manufacturer provides them. If the tender requires FSC or PEFC timber, our offer states which boards can be supplied with certification from the supplier.

Reference: Mørkhøj School, Copenhagen
Together with the main contractor Ason A/S and Rønnow Arkitekter, we are delivering the fixed furniture for Mørkhøj School in stages: 342 lockers with shoe shelves, tall cabinets in the school's colours, upholstered seating niches, kitchenettes, glass boards and acoustic panels — every room modelled in 3D and approved before production.

How we work
From 3D model to finished room.
The team are engineers. Every cabinet, bench and niche is built as a 3D model first; the same model gives the drawing for your approval and the parts list for production.

The approval drawing and the parts list come from the same model. What you approve is what we build.

On larger deliveries we build one unit first, so door, lock and finish can be approved by hand.

Delivered in stages to the site schedule and installed by us.
We reply in English. Drawings and tender documents in Danish or English are both fine. We read the material and come back with the questions that need answering, and a price.
