If the wardrobe is to arrive assembled, be carried in and installed by us, the same wardrobe costs DKK 13,838. The wardrobe is the same, and the difference is how it gets into the room. The wardrobes are delivered flat-packed with assembly instructions, and that is how all the wardrobe prices on this page are calculated. In the designer (in Danish) you see the price of your own wardrobe while you build it.

The full price in four examples

The table adds up the parts for four orders in oak veneer. The wardrobes come first in the calculation, and what comes on top is explained further down, so you can check the sums. All figures are in Danish kroner including Danish VAT and were calculated in the designer on 20 October 2026.

Two wardrobes and a bench with a top cabinet, flat-packed and carried inDKK 25,300 + 2,063DKK 27,363

All wardrobes and the bench are 60 cm wide, so both walls are 180 cm wide. The bench stands between the two wardrobes with two drawers, a cushion in grey upholstery fabric and a top cabinet above. Read more about the bench and top cabinets (in Danish).

The material moves the price most

The same wardrobe can cost more than four times as much just because the material is different. The table shows the wardrobe from the examples, 60 cm wide, 210 cm high and 60 cm deep, without delivery.

MaterialOne wardrobe
White melamineDKK 4,450
Beech, oak or ash veneerDKK 8,450-9,200
Pine or birch plywoodDKK 9,950-12,000
Compact laminate or pre-finished veneerDKK 18,575-19,375

It is the board that costs. White melamine is a chipboard with a white surface and is the cheapest. Veneer is a thin layer of real wood on MDF and the cheapest wood, and plywood is wood all the way through, so the layers show on the edge. In the most expensive row, the board is either laminate all the way through, which takes water and wear, or veneer from selected logs with an even, calm grain, where the surface is already finished when we receive the board. What the materials look like on a wardrobe is shown under made to measure wardrobes and plywood cabinets.

Dimensions and options

One dimension has a jump in price, and that is the depth. The sides of the wardrobe are cut from boards that are about 122 to 125 cm wide. At 60 cm depth two sides can be cut from the width of the board, at 62 cm only one. That is why a wardrobe in oak veneer costs DKK 8,575 at 61 cm and DKK 11,125 at 62 cm. With a hanging rail the wardrobe must be at least 60 cm deep.

The table shows what the other dimensions and the options add or subtract on one wardrobe in oak veneer. On a wardrobe wall you choose the interior wardrobe by wardrobe, so an addition applies to each wardrobe that has it.

The drawers in the table are ordinary drawers on runners. Drawers in solid wood with finger joints can also be chosen, and their price is stated in the offer.

Flat-packed or assembled

The wardrobes come flat-packed with assembly instructions, and you assemble them yourself in the room where they will stand. If you want them assembled from the workshop, there is a freight surcharge, DKK 525 for a wardrobe 60 cm wide, 210 cm high and 60 cm deep. The surcharge only covers freight and follows the size and number of wardrobes.

Installation, where we carry the wardrobes in and put them up, is only available with assembled wardrobes. Flat-packed, the wardrobes can be delivered to the kerb or carried in.

Delivery, installation and measuring

Delivery is calculated for the whole order and is priced in the designer's basket before you send.

Delivery for the whole orderOne wardrobeThree wardrobes
Flat-packed to the kerbDKK 688DKK 1,188
Flat-packed and carried inDKK 1,313DKK 2,063
Assembled, carried in and installedDKK 4,813DKK 8,563

Three wardrobes do not cost three times as much to deliver as one, so on a long wall delivery takes up less of the price. With installation, the surcharge for assembled wardrobes comes on top, as in the second example above. Measuring can be added for the whole order and costs DKK 3,125.

From price to offer

When you send the wardrobes from the designer, it is an enquiry, not an order. We send an offer and a drawing with the final dimensions, and you approve the drawing before the wardrobes are made in our own production. It takes 3 to 6 weeks from order to delivery, and we deliver across Denmark.

The designer shows the wardrobes freestanding, but we draw them to fit the room. If they are to stand in a niche or go up to the ceiling, say so in the message. If the designer cannot do what you want, send us a sketch. You can read about wardrobes for high ceilings and niches under made to measure wardrobes in Copenhagen (in Danish).
